ROMGAZ SA (#SNG) listed on Bucharest Stock Exchange called an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting and an ordinary shareholder meeting for 11 September.
On 11 September the GM has on the agenda the delisting the company from London Stock Exchange, Romgaz Black Sea Limited and Depomures subjects, and a court case to be started against a former member of the management.
There are several companies listed on both the Bucharest Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange, with one currently in the process of delisting. Following the trend of dual listings on these exchanges, it appears that delisting might be the next trend. What comes next? What other methods can be used to attract investors?
The reference date for SNG 11 September GM is 30 August 2024. The deadline for proposing new items on the agenda was 26 August 2024 and there were no proposals.
The deadline for correspondence voting and sending proxy documentation is on Monday morning, on 9 September 2024. The GMs will take place starting with 1.00pm in Bucharest.
In the end we have a rhetorical question: why SNG organizes GMs at a distance of 2 weeks, if on the agenda of the second GM on 25 September there is only a presentation point?
